It’s finally here! The highly anticipated, one year late, fully released… new Twenty One Pilots album.

Trench was announced in May to be released in October. Last Friday, the fifth, it dropped.

With fourteen news songs, there was a lot of hype (The Hype is one of the songs.) A large majority of fans appreciated the easy listening feel it had along with most of the songs. However, some didn’t agree.

I stand by the popular opinion and can happily say Trench is my second favorite Twenty One Pilots album, of the four released. My favorite, still, is their first, self-titled album from 2009.

If you are looking for an album to put on loop and go on a run, do homework, fall asleep or anything in between listen to Trench.

Some tough decisions would bring me to a top five songs off the album, with two that you may not enjoy so much:
